Cupcake Bread 杯子蒸面包 - 原味蒸面包 & 肉松面包

I bought a 杯子蒸面包 recipe book a couple of weeks ago....

But I didn't really take a good look at the recipes inside... Until yesterday, I took it out and read the book... Well, it is actually quite interesting, using steaming method to make bread???

So I was rather eager to try out the 原味蒸面包, as it seems rather easy to make...


原味蒸面包 和 肉松蒸面包

Very nice texture of the bread... But it taste more like the 鸡蛋糕. But hubby & my friend said it tasted like the "rice cake" ("wah kor kueh).

Nat trying another one...;-))

Ingredients:

1 egg

40g sugar

60ml milk

100g plain flour

1 tsp baking powder

1 tbsp canola oil


Method:

Beat the egg, add in the sugar & whisk it, till sugar dissolve.

Add in the milk and mix well.

Add in the flour & baking powder, fold it and mix until well blended.

Add the oil into the batter and mix until well combined.

Scoop the batter into the cup mould, about 3/4 full.

Steam for about 12-15 mins.

Best to serve warm.
